Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as cleaning the church, to preparing the church bulletins.
Mission Outreach
American Baptist Churches USA International Ministries Website
Freedom in the Wind Church is involved in missions by supporting International Ministries Development Workers Emerson and Ivy Wu.

Emerson and Ivy Wu have been endorsed by IM to serve as Development Workers in Macau, a special administrative region of China, with the supportive partnership of Evangelize China Fellowship. For a long time, Macau was known for its gambling casinos. Drug, alcohol and gambling addictions, crime and prostitution were rampant in this region near Hong Kong in which less than 1% of the population is Christian. However, under the new government, many positive changes are taking place. Better education and social services are two major areas that are creating opportunities for the younger generation. The Wus will strive to bring a new spirit to Macau by serving in outreach to youth and college students and in the orphanage’s after-school program.
Ignite Ministries
Ignite is our youth ministries program for 6th – 12th graders. They meet every Sunday morning at 10 AM. They also have special monthly outings.
Project Arrow
We offer Sunday school for children from age 3 through 5th grade. Children will be dismissed to Sunday school after we have finished praise and worship and the sermon is beginning. Our Sunday school is currently using the Sharefaith for Kids curriculum.
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Men’s and Women’s Groups
The men and women of our church currently meet at various times of the month at the church for fellowship and bible study.
Adult Bible Study
Our adults are currently meeting on Wednesday nights September through May at 7:00 PM at the church for Bible study. All are invited.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, before the morning service, at 10:30 AM you can meet in the pastors office for prayer.
